General Care And Precautions
- To reduce the time of charging, always switch off the radios while charging.
- All types of rechargeable batteries can be charged approximately 500 cycles. It’s best to charge the batteries only when the Low Battery Beep is heard. Charging them too frequently will reduce the overall battery life.
- In case the radio falls in water, switch off the radio and remove the battery immediately. Dry the radio with a hair dryer and leave it in the sun for half a day. If it fails to restart, send it to our service centre. Never put wet radios in operation. Permanent failure can occur due to short circuiting.
- Never carry the radio by holding the antenna. The rubber sleeve may come off and the antenna length may change resulting in frequency mismatch and radio heating with loss of range.

License Free walkie talkies have a transmit power of 0.5 watts corresponding to appx. 1/1.5 km range in open area. In cities and congested areas the range could reduce to 0.5Km because of obstructions and intervening buildings.
